Fashion designer Jermikko went to the supermarket and saw this great looking guy, they both looked at each other but did not say a word. She eventually left the supermarket wondering if he was single or not.
Single people are told that the best way to meet people is when you are shopping. Unfortunately, in today's society it is very difficult to carry interpersonal conversations, especially with someone you don't know. so the bag comfortably invites communication face to face with others we want to meet or encourage communication or attention.
Jermikko thought of different ways to communicate that she was single and open to face to face communication. She thought about her past shopping experiences and how they give her bags the advertising for the store she is shopping at. So she thought, why not design a bag that is environmentally and green friendly that advertises my current relationship status?
She returned to the store with one of her own bags that read 'Single Girl Shopping', and while walking down the vegetable isle, she heard a guy say " I like your bag." It worked! She managed to get a guy's attention with her bag and start a real conversation.
The Jermikko Status Bag read 'Single Girl Shopping' and 'Single Guy Shopping'. They both have the name of the cit that they were purchased which also makes for a great souvenir item. There is also 'connected shopping' for when you're in a relationship and 'Hitched Shopping' for when you're married with children.

Recently, I received the patent on a new twist to the Hoodie, which I branded as the SwapOut Hoodie. The SwapOut Hoodie allows the wearer to unzip and add in other colors to create a different color pallet. Currently, it comes in solid colors void of embellishments. The Hoodie is the world’s greatest for supporting your amateur and professional sports teams and sororities and fraternities and is the fashion item of comfort. Our youth and others love wearing this comfortable garment which according to the U.S. Apparel Industry is a $359 billion business.
One day, someone asked me to embellish an order of Hoodies with creative designs. This inspired me to use the embellishment idea to hire some of our talented youths to lend their creativity to hold a pencil and a paint brush in exchange for a gun. My design business is located in a building which houses only artists. This exposure alone would be invaluable to talented youths.
Here is how it will work with your financial assistance:
We will employ creative youths and pay them a decent salary and a percentage of sales for their input into an American staple – the Hoodie – that is strongly loved and accepted by youths and others. These creative youths will work both part- and full-time under the Executive Design Director (Me) to create salable looks on our Hoodie and other Athleisure Wear items. The youth will gain experience at manufacturing, production and selling to major retailers, e-commerce and other distributors.
The world states “it takes a village” so I have come to the Village to ask you to help me remove the gun and replace it with a pencil, paint brush and sketch pad; pride of a career; and the vision of another way out. I feel strongly we will not need to raise so much money to bury a youth because he or she now has the pride of a career doing something he or she loves. While God has given me the gift of this SwapOut Hoodie invention and patent, I strongly believe it is meant to be a tool to employ, educate, empower and enrich some talented youths who need a better way in life.
This is my solution and if it saves 1, 2 or 3 young people, we have made the world a better and safer place.

The Jermikko Label introduces its latest line of clothing featuring the 'world’s most adaptable hoodie'.
This rad sweatshirt is a revolutionary design invented and patented by fashion designer Jermikko from Chicago.
The hoodie was most notably worn by superstar Beyoncé in her music video "lemonade".
The 'Swap Out' hoodie consists of a unique and revolutionary design that enables a user to ‘swap out’ the sides of the hoodie and zip them back up to create a hoodie with two different colors. The wearer can also buy two hoodies that consists of 3 colors, and ‘mix n match’ them to create hoodies with different colors.
The hoodie also has the option to unzip the hood to the side which allows the wearer to go into certain public places where hoodies are stigmatized.
Jermikko likes to invent things, and her ideas are derived from the trials & tribulations of normal daily life.
So how did she come up with the revolutionary 'SwapOut' hoodie?
She came up with the 'swap out' hoodie invention after hearing a conversation between a mother and her son at a local Target store. Her son begged her mother to buy him two different hoodies so that he could represent the colors of his school. His mother told him that they cannot afford two so he had to settle for one. Upon hearing this, Jermikko started to think of a creative solution to the problem. This is how she came up with the 'SwapOut' hoodie that can adapt and change.
